About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Women's Health and Integrative Psychiatry ("WHIP," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit www.womenshealthpsychiatry.net (the "Site"), contact us through it, or sign up for our communications.

This policy covers the Site only. Once you become a patient, the health information we create or receive in your care is protected by federal and California health privacy law and is governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices. If the two documents conflict regarding your health information, the Notice of Privacy Practices controls.

Please do not send personal health information through the Site's general contact form or by regular email. Use the secure patient portal instead. The Site is for information and inquiries only and is not intended for emergencies. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 or call 911.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a contact or new-patient inquiry form, request a consultation, or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect what you provide. This may include your name, email address, phone number, city or state of residence, preferred contact method, and the message you write.

Information collected automatically. When you browse the Site, our website host and analytics tools collect technical information. This may include your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time spent on pages, the site that referred you, and general location (city or region) derived from your IP address.

Information from booking and payment tools. If you schedule or pay through a third-party tool linked from the Site, such as Acuity Scheduling or Stripe that provider collects the information needed to complete the transaction under its own privacy policy. We do not store full card numbers.
